Country Cottage is perched at the top of the Bluff in Winona County with panoramic views of country living at its finest as it was recently constructed with the input of previous and current tenants. Our low grade ramp makes it easy to stroll on into the modern home where you can kick off your shoes in the spacious entry while gazing at the breathtaking open floor plan. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all made in our custom kitchen maximizing socialization and engagement during meals as they are served at the table, comforted with the warmth of the double sided fire place. Relax in the great room amongst the beams of radiant natural light. The space most desirable is the spa. This retreat provides a walk in jetted tub or walk in shower. Each bedroom contains its own half bath and can come furnished or unfurnished as our occupants are encouraged to make the space as if their own. At Country Cottage we respect the desire for individuals to be as independent as possible yet staff are available when necessary.
The vast outdoor space allows to be with nature. Settle in to a comfortable chair on the covered patio, get some fresh air while strolling on the cement path around the yard, continue a passion of gardening in our raised beds, or watch the sun go down while settling down for the night amidst a bon fire before bed. We welcome you and accept your normal routines and pleasures in life, because “Together, we are family”

Family Roots Eldercare
Family Roots Eldercare, formerly known as Park Side Eldercare, was absorbed in 2020 operating in a ranch style home within city limits. It's pre-existing floor plan was not ideal for the aging senior population. Family Roots Eldercare built a brand new facility located in Plainview Township at 24428 550th Street. It allows for zero grade entrance into the home. It 's as welcoming as your stay will be. Pass sometime relaxing in the living room amidst the high ceiling and large bay window. Enjoy our homemade meals three times a day and refreshing snack prepared in the custom kitchen. This home is spacious with wide hallways, each resident has their own room which includes a private half bathroom.
